Isaías 43 16-21

Isaías 43:16-21

16 - Assim diz o SENHOR, o que preparou no mar um caminho, e nas águas impetuosas uma vereda;

17 - O que fez sair o carro e o cavalo, o exército e a força; eles juntamente se deitaram, e nunca se levantarão; estão extintos; como um pavio se apagaram.

18 - Não vos lembreis das coisas passadas, nem considereis as antigas.

19 - Eis que faço uma coisa nova, agora sairá à luz; porventura não a percebeis? Eis que porei um caminho no deserto, e rios no ermo.

20 - Os animais do campo me honrarão, os chacais, e os avestruzes; porque porei águas no deserto, e rios no ermo, para dar de beber ao meu povo, ao meu eleito.

21 - A esse povo que formei para mim; o meu louvor relatarão.

Isaiah 43 16-21

16 - Thus saith the Lord, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;

17 - Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.

18 - Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

19 - Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall yenot know it ? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

20 - The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owis: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.

21 - Thispeople have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.
